Opportunities often
Appear
Randomly and
Out of thin air
Always surrounded
By questions and fear.

Unclear how to proceed
Unclear how this may help
But for some reason
Unknown to the human self
It feels right
At this moment of time.

I am ready for this change?
Do I even know how?
Is this an opportunity
Of a lifetime
Or just a crazy
Thought of mine?

Being mindful
While entering
Into the stillness
Of the heart
Listening quietly
To the inner voice
Instead of my
Noisy thoughts.

Trust the feelings
That come from the heart
Don’t listen to negative
Self-talk from
The human self
For you are worthy
And brave
Making a difference
In your life
Right now
Without a doubt.
