What is the difference between a Medium and a Psychic?

Why am I providing this service?  

10 months after the physical death of my son, a friend asked if I considered going to a see a Medium. At that time, I didn’t know what a Medium was or what service they provided.  She stated her visit with a Medium after her brother died was very healing. So, I decided to book an appointment with a local medium because I truly wanted to have a relationship with my son that passed. Didn’t know how to achieve this but I remained open to possibilities.

My husband agreed to attend with me, which I was surprised and relieved at the same time. I didn’t want to do this alone. While sitting in the car waiting for the appointment time, our “skeptic” hats were applied and we agreed not to say much about why we were there in order to not give away any clues about our son. In the back of our minds, we thought this Medium would Google information. I have to snicker at my healthy skepticism at that time and how mis-informed I was about how communicating with the Spiritual Realm worked.  

Our male Medium was friendly and made us comfortable prior to starting the session. He did not ask us why we came to see him and quickly started his prayer connection process. 60 minutes later our private session with the Medium was over and we both felt like we just had a conversation with our son via this Medium. 

The Medium presented so much evidence about my son’s personality and traits, family memories, events and much more. I unequivocally knew my son was there with us and speaking to us through our Medium. This session confirmed that my son was still alive and well, just in a different form. As my husband & I drove home, we both sat in silence holding hands because we felt so loved and comforted with our son’s energy and presence.

Fast forward several years, the path of healing my own grief, lead me to enfold and develop my own Mediumship and Psychic gifts through the attendance of Colin Bates and Andy Byng, Arthur Findlay College Tutors, mentorship programs and several Suzanne Giesemann classes. I continue my studies fine tuning my techniques and growing my gift in order to help others.

I’ve learned we all have the ability to connect with our loved ones in Spirit but it includes a lot of hard work, patience and practice. But once I demonstrated my own powerful Medium and Psychic gifts, which I believe I inherited from my maternal grandmother, I wanted to give the grieving person that first gift of profound healing and comfort. Which confirms the continuation of life via the Spirit Communications found in a private 1-on-1 reading.
