Wall Of Fears 12/15/2022

As life moved
Forward
Bounded by time
My fears smoldered
With indignation
Creating a wall
Of anxiety and suffering
That became difficult
To travel around.

Didn’t realize
How stifled I felt
By all the worries
And overthinking
That processed
In my thoughts.

Your transition to heaven
Burst open the doors
To my soul
Allowing me to face
My wall of fears
Head on.

Worked hard
To heal
And understand
This emotional wall
 I created
Over time.

Learned to lean
Into my emotions
As each tumbled down
Breaking me free
Of my past
Long before.

Walking hand in hand
With you
By my side
Feeling burden free
As I continue to
Complete
My soul’s purpose
On earth.
