My Adversaries 8/5/2023

I’m alright
It’s been a long fight
It’s been a long struggle
With
Anger and fear
As my adversaries
Finally understanding
Why
I acted the way I did.

Allowed myself
To follow fear
Instead of getting in touch
With my Divinity
That’s
Patiently waiting
In my heart.

Allowed myself
To only hear
Words of judgement
Words of jealousy
And criticism
Thinking only guilt
And doubt
Lived within my heart.

Just had enough
Not living this way
Any longer
I choose now
Something different
Re-claiming my power
Of self-love
And compassion.

I love me
All of me
Both
The dark and light
Experiences
I’ve had.

Choosing to forgive
Myself
And integrate
The past with love
Knowing my future
Will be brighter
And happier
From this day
Forward.
