Don’t want to lose you now
Don’t want to say goodbye
As time within eternity
Allows forward movement
Believing its part
Of what
Needs to be learned.

Looking into mirrors
Within memories
That life created
Guiding us to reflect
On what’s important
To us.

Say goodbye to the old
Familiar ways
Of being
And open the heart
To a new way
Of knowing
And feeling.

Acceptance of the past
Without labeling
Tis good nor bad
Allows integration
Into who
You are now.

Two sides of a reflection
Appear
The one that you see
And the other
Who you need to be.

Both are needed
To create a balanced life
While healing the parts
Wounded and bruised
While you merge
Two reflections
Into one.
