Waiting For Change 5/20/2022

Fear of the unknown
Uncertainties about death
Old religious beliefs
Have me afraid of life
And what will happen next.

Useless worry
About the future ahead
Tis the thinking mind
Often in a tizzy
Confused by craziness
Just waiting
For the world to change
Instead.

Yet my Heart
Seeks to understand
My Soul
Seeks change
Do I wait for others
To initiate
Or begin alone
Starting within?

When questions arise
Causing uneasiness
Tis the moment
One gains control
By going within the heart
To seek the answers
Needed.

Travel inward
To the silent solitude
Allowing unconscious
Movement occur
Into a deepness
While detaching
From our humanness.

Feel the subtle power
Begin to surface
While connecting
To the Soulful Self
For guidance.

Open the heart
Open the mind
Learn to be
The change first
And watch growth occur
From inside out.
