Changes 3/16/2023

Fall breezes
Blowing
Inhaled a hint
Of cool air
Refreshing my senses
Making me aware
Changes
Are approaching.

As seasons
Come and go
Change becomes
Relevant
And persistent part
Of nature’s life.

The leaves
Do not try
To cling
But learn how
To let go
When it’s time.

Nature teaches us
To adjust and adapt
As gifts and challenges
Appear in our life.

Listen to the breeze
Blowing
Notice the leaves
Swaying
When nature’s sign
Of transition
Appears
They let go without
Questions.

Dancing in mid air
With the breeze
Descending
Towards the ground
Their cycle completed
For now.

Trusting
The natural order
As they crumble
And wither away
Knowing a rebirth
Will appear
In another
Springtime
Just ahead.
