Anxiously Waiting 12/13/2023

Love will always
Find you
But only if you
Allow it
For your thoughts
And actions
Are the ways
You’ve chosen to
Be guided in life.

Often created
By the human self
Are invisible barriers
Around the heart
Difficult to dismantle
And difficult
To feel us.

One day
You will find us
Hidden in plain sight
Just like the keys
You couldn’t find
Or the glasses
You misplaced.

They eventually
Show up
Because
You remembered
Where they got lost.

Until this day occurs
We anxiously wait
To meet
And please know
You are always loved.
