What Will Be 10/24/2023

Here I go again
Down the rabbit hole
With my worry and fear
Trying to predict
Or expect
Something
In a future event.

Our humanness
Needs to plan life
Trying to control and prevent
Something from occurring
That we don’t expect.

Tis all about fear
The anxiety
The frustration
The uneasiness
Like the dread feeling
Going to the doctor
For an annual checkup.

Will they find something?
Will my blood pressure be high?
Already worrying about something
That hasn’t occurred yet.

Breathe deeply
With closed eyes
Continue until
You feel a shift occurring.

Allow the tension
And stress to release
And hear the words
Everything will be alright
Feel the trust
And let go of
The expectations felt.

What will be
Will be
What will happen
Will happen
Nothing will change
What’s already in motion.

Just let go
And accept
The inevitable
With love and kindness.
