Good Times Roll 10/20/2023

Life is on a roll
All is well
No hiccups
No potholes
Then suddenly
The good times stop.

A tragedy occurs
Something sudden
And unplanned
Pain and suffering
Seems to be
The norm now.

Trying to understand
The why's
Of what happened
Tis a normal reaction
To this type of question.

But life is filled
With many lessons
For the spirit to grow
Not as a punishment
For something you
Did wrong.

Changing perspective
Is a must
In order for thoughts
To reverse
Its negative flow.

Are you swimming with
Or against
The current of life?

Once realized
Your struggle
Is not accepting
Changes
Just lean into
The heaviness
Feeling
All that
Needs to be felt.

Watch the shift
Begin to change
Your mindset
That’s when
Grace arrives.

Making
The transformation
Needed to survive
Allowing the
Good times roll
Once again.
