Vulnerability and Hope 7/6/2024

Standing naked
Looking into
The mirror of
My life
Wearing
An invisible coat
Of vulnerability
And hope. 

Looking deeply inside
Trying to be
Honest and truthful
With what I see
On the surface
As well as
What I feel
Inside my heart. 

The heaviness
Of emotions exist
Standing next me
Waiting to be recognized
Without judgments. 

Allowing pride
To soften
In order for
Compassion
And love
To surface. 

Accepting
What I see and feel
As the truth
And acknowledge
I am ok
With my imperfections
And mistakes
Of the past. 

Choosing to
Love myself
As is
Which frees
My soul
To expand
And grow
Fully.
