Tears of loneliness
Stream down
My cheek
Holding my grief
Precariously
Realizing
Your body
No longer
Walks on
Planet Earth
With me. 

Leaning into sadness
While noticing
A flutter of joy
Tickling my heart
Confused by
This contradiction
And begin to wonder
What’s going on here. 

Tis your
Energetic presence
Becoming consciously
Alive
In my heart
And mind. 

Feeling a gentleness
Feeling overwhelmed
With love
A brush on my check
Assures me
That you are
With me now. 

My dearest
My beloved
I will always be
By your side
Living in harmony
Within your thoughts
And heart mind. 

Choose to live life fully
Choose to find meaning
Within this sadness
For that’s how
One spiritually grows
And connects
With God the Universe.
