The sun rises each day
Even in cloudiness
And gloom
Tis our perceptions
That help us choose
Whether we see it or not.

When difficult times appear
Know there’s
Always hope
Waiting on the sidelines
To offer you
Tickets to paradise
Within your heart
And thoughts.

With this understanding
Opens an awareness
Allowing you to choose
Your state of mind
And how you react.

Befriend your emotions
Helping to understand
The mood changes within
And outer reactions
To others
Based upon
Your perceptions
Of kindness.

Be one
With your breathing
Slow and steady
Taking you on
An inner journey
To active
Your “paradise” mode
Anytime needed.
