Each of us are dealt
A hand of cards
In life
Never knowing
What we will get
And always
Hoping for the best.

Life events experienced
May see random
To the human mind
But in the grander scheme
Tis all about
What we find.

Many valuable lessons
To learn
About choices
For each card we play
We decide
Whether to hold’em
Or whether to walk away
And move
Forward in life.

Just like a Gambler
We need to understand
Ourselves and others
By looking
At each face
Through the eyes of God
To find
What’s in their heart.

The cards dealt
Often hold
Deeper meanings
Than the face value
So be wise and humble
When deciding
What hand
You play in life.
