Small Miracles 1/5/2023

A white feather
Floats pass my window
As my eyes attach
To what’s outside.

Stunned by the beauty
That’s always present
Saying thank you silently
As a way to show
Appreciation to
What is seen and felt.

I giggle and gasp
As Hummingbirds dance
The tango in mid air
While Chickadees
Sit quietly
Enjoying the show
As well.

In this moment
Peace and joy
Are present
For these winged
Creatures of God
Speak to me
As nature’s love.

Tiny miracles occur
All the time
For our human eyes
Yet many can’t see
Nature’s glow.

For it’s a matter
Of perspective
To view life
With small miracles
Present
All the time.
