Tis difficult to break
Old patterns
And perceptions
About what others
May or may not see.

Felt the imperfections
Of the situation rise
Lost in thoughts
As what can be done
For this mishap
Not to happen again.

Can’t control
Others actions
Can’t control
Others anger
But can control reactions
Helping to
Diffuse any situation.

Doubting myself
Uncomfortable
And unsure
If my inner strength
Can take the high road
To an elevated perspective.

Yet my Soul Self
Views me
With imperfect
Perfection
Knowing I’ll do my best
In any situation
That occurs.
