Over and Over 10/16/2024

Tried every way
To let go
Of my thoughts
Over and Over
Words
Turned around
Upside down
And inside out
Couldn’t stop myself
From drowning
In thinking
Too much.

There’s a loneliness
That consumes you
In worry
And overthinking
Till you decide
Can’t take it anymore
And need help.

In this moment
Realized
Been holding
My breath
Hoping things will pass
Decided
To breath and release
What no longer
Served me.

Sighing out
Letting go
To heal my brokenness
And just be
Present
To feel
Instead.

A sudden relief
Arises
As this decision
Was finally made
A new destiny
Appears
Out of thin air
That suddenly
Changed me
Forever.
