I can’t help myself
Or can I?
I can’t love myself
Or should I?

So many questions
About
What I can’t
Or shouldn’t do
Makes me dizzy
With confusion.

Sorting through
What’s right and wrong
For myself
Is difficult when
You only use
The brain.

Finding answers
To questions
Must come
From the heart
For it will truly guide you
To what is needed
In life.

You have the power
To focus on self
But often we don’t
For we think it’s
Prideful and selfish
Thing to do.

Love will surface
Humility with kindness
Will become present
And those silly thoughts
Of not caring for thyself
Will go away.

Be one with kindness
Be one with compassion
Tis the only way
To live and love
Fully.
