Mesmerized
At the snowflakes
Cascading
Downward
Creating a white blanket
Of peacefulness
That comforts me
Oh so
Profoundly.

Muffled sounds
That quietly
Bounce around
Giving me a chance
To hear
My thoughts
Speak to me
This morning.

Cherishing
This beautiful
Moment
For I know
I am truly present
As all five senses
Connect
With my heart.

Feeling
Nature’s love
Wrapping around me
Like a mother
Reassuring a child
They are loved.

Gratitude
Appears quickly
Reminding me
These moments
Should be
Cherished
No doubts
About that.
