Fire of grief burns
Fiercely
Mourning a loved one
Affectionately
Feel the pain
Moving through
Creating space
For healing to occur
Gently.

Memories of love surface
As the pain of loss is present
Encourage changing
Perceptions
By willing this to happen.

Allowing transformation to flow
Blend the fire of grief
With passion for life
Welcome the rain of tears
To sooth
Each wound carefully.

As the heart opens slowly
Like petals of a rose
Love yourself dearly
Healing from inside out.

Watch the transformation continue
Finding new meanings of life
Embracing its mysteries
But most importantly
Always love yourself.
