Patience and kindness
Towards another
Are elements of love
That come from the heart
And not the mind.

Tis a difficult task
To love someone
You don’t know and
Perhaps dislike
For opinions they speak.

But know
Love of another
Can be accomplished
If your awareness
Is heightened
While embracing
The divinity that
Lives in the
Soulful heart.

Within stillness
Of thoughts
The rational mind softens
Allowing the subconscious
To see no differences
Or disgusts.

An openness appears
Welcoming a new way
To perceive life
Without judgements
Recognizing
Everything and everyone
As love.

Understanding
These elements
Of love
Connect us
All together
While living on earth.
