Don't Wait 12/11/2021

Loss in life
Goes together
Like moonlight
And sunlight
One doesn’t exist
Without the other
In sight.

Many avoid their losses
Hiding and suppressing
These emotions
From their heart.

Delaying
The inevitable
Makes it difficult
To heal
For the wound is
Buried deeply.

So
Hold on tight
Grit your teeth
Pull the band aid off
And get it over quick.

Now take time
To heal your loss
With love and kindness
Especially with yourself.

Don’t wait
For life to be over
Counting the days
For misery and boredom
To stop holding tight.

Just live
In this moment
Right now
Feeling the joy and love
And sharing this
With others.

Accepting life
And the changes needed
Becoming grounded
Within the energy of love
Gives me the courage
To move forward.
