Feeling grief rise again
Tired of pushing it away
Desperately want relief
From the emptiness
Felt inside.

Looking for something
Outside of me
Desperately longing
For something
To hold of
But all I feel
Is deep sorrow.

Need a spark of fire
To get life
Jump started
Need a spark of courage
To build confidence
Allowing
A forward motion
To occur.

Setting an intention
To release the pain
Trusting my instincts
While dancing
In the darkness
With my grief.

Finding
Inspiration within
Changes your perspective
As life slowly
Allows positivity
To enter.

Awareness strengthens
Balancing the lightness
With darkness
Creating a loving space
To heal
The wounded heart.
