Crossroads Sign 05/15/2021

Lost in a dream
Looking straight up
At a crossroads sign
Perplexed
And confused
Mentally deciding
Which way to go next.

Do I take the easy road?
That’s smooth and sleek
Or do I take the bumpy side?
Knowing it will be difficult
But more rewarding to achieve.

Indecisions
Uncertainties
Vacillations
Frequently occurring
How do I sort through this mess?

Signs and clues
What am I looking for?
My mind is on overdrive
Trying too hard
To analyze.

Start to breathe deeply
Close my eyes gently
Feeling a sense of relief
As I merge with my heart.

Stillness settles in quietly
Calmness gives me clarity
Understanding quickly
Which direction
My path is headed on.

Finding a gentle conviction
Within my core
Sparking the flame
To begin movement.

Wishing myself the best
As I learn to live life
Making decisions
And noticing the signs
Around me.
