Another Chance 6/14/2021

 Tossed
And turned at night
Just didn’t
Understand life.

Needed time to dissolve
Away the bitterness
That lingered
In the dizziness
Of my thoughts.

Morning light peeks
Through the blinds
Wiggling and stretching
Waking me up
With a different perspective
As another chance
To get it right.

Finding space
As forgiveness rises
Harmonizing into
A deep rhythm
With the intention
Of healing the heart.

Accepting
Another chance to love
Another chance to change
Another change to be
The person I was
Meant to be
As another day enfolds
Once again.
