Subtleties of life
Come to us
In many ways
By listening
And seeing with
The Soul’s heart
Instead of the brain.

Do you hear
Acorns dropping
The breeze blowing
Leaves rustling
And the turtle doves
Cooing?

Mindfully
Listen with intent
Listen with awareness
Listen with your heart
And Soul
To acknowledge
Discrete messages
Camouflaged
In plain sight.

Can you see
A mother’s love
While she licks her kittens clean?

Or a sunflower smiling
At the sun
With gratitude
For the warm sunny day?

Or the reflection of the blue sky
Smiling at itself
In a backyard pool?

Go beyond the physical senses
Move the cloudiness
Of your humanness
Aside
And just listen and see
Feeling into each
Revealing the elusive
And invisible
Parts of life.
