Solid and Steady 08/28/2021

Should have known
About life after death
But my time
For understanding
Didn’t arrive
Till after
The tragic event.

Often questioned
About why this occurred
But realize now
It wasn’t my time
To start awakening.

Grateful for
All special moments
That occurred before
In a endless state
Of awareness.

Within precious time
Acceptance and changes
To perceptions and beliefs
Occur only with
An open heart
And mind.

Be fluid as water
With solid and steady
Patience
While constructing
And rebuilding
Yourself
From inside out.

Tis not an easy process
But with focus
And practicing mindfulness
Rewards will occur
As peace and joy
Bring life back
To the wounded self.
