Mesmerized 09/21/2022

Mesmerized
By the full moon
As it pulls me
Towards
It’s magnificent.

Within the shadows
Of the night
I find a presence
As serine
Peacefulness
Cuddling next to me.

It welcomed me
To stay
Just like
A best friend
Would.

Twas’ quiet and still
Felt safe
And comforted
In the moonlight rays.

My active mind
Felt agitated
By the shadows
Though
But learned to control
These fears
By deep breathing.

Each night when
I lay my head to rest
I wish upon a start
With gratitude
For another
To feel presence
Of the full moon powers
To help heal
Their broken heart
As well.
