Meant To Flow 11/13/2022

Laid it on the line
Dug deep
Within the soul
Allowed grief emotions
To be expressed and exposed
Via written words
In a poem.

Wishing the best for others
Wishing the best for self
How do I let go of expectations
Of what I want to happen
And be happy
With the results
That actually occurs?

Must learn
And understand
Events and opinions
Can't harm us
As long as we
Untie the cords
That confine us.

Things will happen
As needed
Things are meant to be
As they occur
Can’t change the results
No matter how much
We pray on it.

For the Universe
Wants us to experience
Something that grows
Love and confidence
Within the soul.

So live life
Flowing like a river
And smiling
Within the heart
We were meant to be
One with the Universe
No doubt
About that.
