Expectations
Can lead to despair
But it can also bring hope
Depending on the shade
Of glasses you wear.

Adversity appears
Sometimes
Out of nowhere
Tugging and pulling
Downwards
Into the shadowy abyss
Of life.

Many lenses to view from
Seek and find
Higher grounds
As decisions from the soul
Are often made
With the heart.

Each abyss
Makes you stronger
Inner strength
Gets tougher
Allowing choices
To quickly emerge.

Expect the unexpected
Change is a constant
Acknowledge your divinity
As a co-creator of your life.
