Feeling agitated
Being bored
Experiencing
Excessive
Mental stimulation
As the day
Goes forward.
Breathe deeply
Long and slow
Relaxing while exhaling
Repeating many times
Until the mind
Let’s go of
Thinking.
What do feel?
What do you see?
In this state of mindful
Awareness.
Can you hear the breeze blowing
Whispering
I love you?
Can you hear the birds chirping
Singing little diddies
Of joy for you?
Can you feel the morning light
Gently touching your face
Wishing you well today?
All these little things
You never noticed
Are present every day
For your delight.
You can achieve
This state of awareness
Within this stillness
Anytime
Anywhere
You want.
Tis your choice
To be bored
Or to be mindfulI
It’s as simple
As that.
