Life hits you hard
With a one
Two
Knockout punch
And sends you
Flat to the ground.

Can’t breathe
Dazed and confused
Wondering
If you’ll
Ever get up
Again.

In this defining
Moment
That shocked
All bodily senses
One must choose
To stay wounded
Or find the strength
Needed to rise up
And begin
Again.

Tis a difficult task
But this event
Was destined
To enter your life
And there’s no hiding
From it.

So
Close your eyes
Choose to breathe
Deeply
And choose to release
All limitations
That will keep you
The same.

Some old beliefs
Some past memories
Each having a different
Knockout power
To keep you
Tied down.

Lean into the changes
Your life wants to make
Choose to remain
In an open state
So love and insight
Keep coming forth.
