Holding Space 9/4/2024

Be gentle
Be kind
Be patience
With those
Who are still
Sleep walking
For they don’t understand
The subtle miracles
All around them.

They maybe grumpy
And frustrated at life
Harsh words and actions
May be present
And not aware
This is happening
Within themselves.

Not caring to listen
And hear other’s
Opinions
They have no filter
And say negative
Words out loud.

You want to help them
And encourage them
But they are stuck
In this storyline
So what is to be done?

Holding space
Within their presence
Tis the best action to take
Send love
Without conditions
Or expectations
Hoping one day
They act accordingly.

Only they control change
For themselves
Tis difficult
And frustrating
Because your human trait
Likes to help others
Who flounder.

 Stand firm
Within your heart
Ready to lend a hand
Otherwise just continue
To hold space
And send love
All the time.

For the energy of love
Will penetrate
Through dense emotions
Prying open tiny cracks
In their armor
To heal wounds from the past
While being
Silently present
For them
Tis the best way
To show your love.
