Your love for me
Is gentle and sweet
But underneath
The surface
There’s a depth
Of strength
Rooted deep.

Allow life
To be like a Willow Tree
Swaying in the breeze
Finding inner courage
As outside forces
Blows fiercely.

Trees need wind
For development
And growth
Tis the resistance
That allows
Roots to travel
Deep
Into the ground.

Wind in life
Contains all struggles
We experience
But instead of reacting
To the pain
We learn to flow
Into accepting
What the soul
Wants to experience.

As storms move
Through our life
Pushing and pulling
Back and forth
Balancing our growth
Above and below
As heaven on earth
Appears in life.

We continue
Standing strong
For we are
Grounded in love
And always
Believe in hope.
