Freedom Within 07/04/2021

Stop for a moment
Feel within it
Notice subtle changes
Occurring
As the heart softens
To absorb it. 

Try not
To be repetitive
Becoming stagnant
And dull in life
Keeping bound
To the familiar
At hand.

 Fear and anxiety
Brews in the unknown
Put your toes into the water
Testing the temperature
Of the moment.

Step out of your comfort zone
Be the change needed
For the soul’s growth
To occur.

Let freedom ring
Let freedom rise up
Let your inner voice
Be heard
Over anxious thoughts.

 Rejoice
Smile brightly
Feel your confidence rise
Tis another day
To make your mark.
