God effortlessly
Weaves love
Into every moment
But the human eyes
Are often closed
To the subtleties
Of life at hand.

Being selfish and stubborn
Thrives in ignorance
So how do we remove
The clouded film
Covering
Our stifled thoughts?

Tis the awakening
We all must encounter
Can be easy or hard
It all depends
On the lesson itself.

But once it occurs
Freedom and purpose
Makes an appearance
As a higher understanding
Revealing our path
Of learning.

Forever together
Walking in two worlds
One with the human role
And the other
As the higher self.

Hand in hand
We both must accept
Each other
For we can’t experience life
In its fullest
Without the wholeness
Of love.
