Falling Freely 04/17/2021

In the stillness of my mind
I’m falling freely
Into nothingness
Letting go of sorrows
As cleansing tears
Glide down
Drowning out
All unpleasant tomorrows.

In the stillness of my mind
I’m falling freely
Into nothingness
Allowing anger to subside
By loudly sighing
Pushing aside
What’s not needed
Any longer.

In the calmness of my mind
I’m falling freely
Into nothingness
Identifying
Needless worries
Thrusting out with every exhale
While breathing in peace
And contentment.

In the quiet of my mind
I’m falling freely

into nothingness
Silently confessing my fears
Forcing them to disappear
Leaving behind resentments
As compassion
Shyly enters inwardly.

In the strength of my mind
I’m falling freely
Into something
Clinging to truth and wisdom
Knowing a presence
Is with me
Feeling guided with assurance
To never look back.
