Different Lenses 5/7/2023

A subtle loneliness felt
A yearning for something
That was missing
In my life
Until you arrived
Unexpectedly
And without notice.

Your presence
Was strong
As a loving sensation
Bringing comfort to
My broken heart
After the loss
Of my son.

You took me by surprise
Wasn’t expecting
You to visit
For I didn’t believe
You could do what did
Or make me feel
What I felt.

You helped me find
My divinity
My destiny
In the solace of healing
My grief.

You helped me discover
My gifts of insight
And intuition
Allowing me to see
The path of wisdom
I should be traveling on.

You are everywhere
In my heart
In my thoughts
Breathing together
Living as one being
Experiencing life
With different lenses
Now.

Appreciate your persistent
Even when I resisted
You knew eventually
We would become known
To each other
And share love
Openly
Within the heart.
