Darkness Within 6/16/2024

What am I supposed to do?
My pain is overwhelming
My loneliness is depressing
I have nowhere to go
And no one to turn to. 

Sitting with my thoughts
Sitting with my pain
Sitting in my loneliness
Wishing things were different
But don’t know how
To proceed. 

Close my eyes
Breathing deeply
Tears streaming now
Crying relentlessly
While praying
For a rescue. 

Amidst the darkness
That hangs over me
Like a storm cloud
I suddenly feel
A spark of hope
A spark of light. 

A tender voice
Speaking in my thoughts
Repeating
Everything will be alright
In its own place
And in its own time. 

You have the power
To heal yourself
With the gift
Of self-love
That heals
From inside out
Creating a deep well
Of love to pull from.

Love thyself
Is the answer
To all struggles
Tis the highest vibration
That connects to God
The Source. 

Mindfully I pray​
Staying connected
Throughout the day
Tis the only way
To be present in life
And share the love
Created from
Loving thyself.
