My life is sweet
My life is whimsical
My love for you
Is pure and gentle
For you guided me
To find heaven
While living on earth.

‘Twas not easy
For life built
Blockades
Around the heart
When veering
Off course
Making it difficult
To understand
Moments of time.

Looked within
Found wisdom
To appreciate
These deviations
Are part of my
Soul plan.

Realized then
Life is saying to me daily
You are beautiful
Indeed
Just need
To believe
In yourself.

For each wrinkle
And each line
Represents
Aspects of life
Indicating
Value and worth
Just like a tree trunk
In its prime.

All the goodness
And kindness
Embedded within
Makes me
A valuable commodity
Knowing I am loved
All the time
No matter what I look like.
